We will be hiring for
the farm store in mid May, looking for submissions for resumes now. Ideal
candidate would have a solid basic knowledge of organic food and its
production, retail experience required, at least 18 years of age, able to lift
40 lbs and stand for long periods of time. This is not necessarily a field job
but there may be times when that would be required (harvesting for CSA for
example).
Also looking for a
Farmer's Market assistant who would assume responsibility for at least
one ( possibly two) of our regular weekend markets. This job requires some
heavy lifting, set up and display for markets, strong retail experience,
knowledge about fruits and vegetables, min. age 18. Must be personable and
friendly since would be representing our farm to the public. Must be reliable
and able to commit most every weekend June-Oct.
